"healing hearts

nurturing nature,

awakening awareness

celebrating the weave"

- a poem by friend Delvin Solkinson that I feel perfectly describes my heart soul intention

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Through all the twists, turns, trials and tribulations ~ all the beauty, love, celebration and togetherness of life,
one thing that remains consistent is my profound love and awe for the power of creativity to transform consciousness.

I experience singing, dancing and all forms of creative expression as a magical medicine. They weave the seen and unseen worlds, integrating reality and liberating our being from the constant dualities of life.  Creativity creates a sacred container for the expression of all things hidden below the surface and restores wholeness.  I've walked many paths, searching for ways to live a life of love, service, authenticity and inspiration. They are all good - but at the end of the day, it's sound for me, that is the heart of creation. It moves all things and makes me smile.  And I've noticed that when I smile and dance, the universe and all its infinite forms of life are smiling, singing and dancing with me."

~ Bachan

The creative process has always been an unpredictable journey, particularly when one has an approach to art as a conscious prayer and process of surrender and discovery.  The very act of creation is my greatest teacher...receptivity and self trust, leading to humility, surprise and deep gratitude.

I paint, sing and dance to inspire myself and others. I open as a vessel, to reveal the jewels hidden beneath the surface of everyday reality...the wisdom contained within each and every aspect of this wonderous creation.

The practice of communion with my soul and forms of creativity act as a reminder of who we are, whole and connected to the divine union of all life.  It is my prayer to open portals of remembrance in our world through artistic offerings that allow the soul to journey into familiar lands of recognition, celebration and awe for all we have been, are, and are becoming.

My focus is always evolving, though it remains rooted in the essence of our individual and collective hueman journey.
I'm quite excited to begin working on more collaborative projects and have been taking this last year as a time to stand back and be inspired by the world and the creators in it, incorporating this inspiration into the next steps of my creative journey.

I am so grateful for the joy of walking the path of conscious co-creator; feeling the universe unfold through my finger tips.  As always, it is my prayer that the creations stir something within your heart and inspire a fresh appreciation of the beauty of who you are, and who we are as humans.

May our greatest value in life always be the uniqueness of our essence, and yet the oneness of our spirit.  May our gratitude and self-love, bring light, peace, courage, compassion, understanding and celebration to this world in these often dark times.

In Peace,

Madeleine Bachan Kaur
