Angels in the Amrit (2004) is Bachan Kaur’s first mantra offering. Recorded in the early stages of her musical journey, the cd captures a sweet moment from one of her first times leading a group with her versions of the Aquarian Sadhana Chants (except the Mool Mantra version, written by Nirinjan Kaur Khalsa).

Originally, the recording was just for fun amongst friends. However, eventually she felt inspired to release it in February of 2006 as a fundraiser for women heading to India on a Khalsa Ladies Yatra. Since then, the Cd has served as a fundraiser for both Yoga for Youth, and to support youth in British Columbia to attend Miri Piri Academy in India (the School started by Yogi Bhajan).

The CD is meant for use during morning Sadhana, the spiritual practice of rising early before dawn to vibrate sounds that clear our Karmas, elevate the soul and align us with our truest self. Her melodies are simple and sweet with the capacity to invoke a deep meditative, healing space.
However, these soul-full chants can be listened to anytime of the day, for any occasion to uplift the soul and support us on our journey into wholeness.

Guitar, Harmonium percussion and a lot of love from a group of Angels chanting in the morning makes this cd a refreshing addition to any lover of the sound current. The Cd also includes a bonus track of Bachan Kaur’s version of Bountiful, Blissful, Beautiful, which is a feature from her self-produced album Soul Songs.
